For some reason my computer plays all audio cd's with a "concert hall" effect, which basically means there is a slight echo of the lyrics. Its bothering the crap out of me... It's not my speakers, its not WinAmp/Windows media player, and its not the cd. Any ideas what the problem is?
I kicked my DVD Rom yesterday. The tray was open and I got up to get a cd to put it in and I ran into it. It hurt. I said, "Shhhhhhhhhh-oot". I later changed my mind and said the other word in my mind. With a little (a lot) of help from my roommate, Tim, it works again. According to him, the limit switch on it is broken, so when it closes it grinds slightly, because it doesn't know when to stop closing. Oh well.
I got yelled at today by the card swiping lady because my card was broken when she tried to swipe it in the machine for breakfast. I think that's ridiculous. She acted like I was a repeat offender or something, when in fact, I only tore the magnetic strip yesterday. Granted, its always had a little "character" to it, but up until yesterday, its always worked. I guess I'll get a new card today....
First meeting of Calvin College's official Simpsons Club, club SNUH: October 1, 2003. I didn't found it or anything, but the founders did give me the title of Grand Glaven. As the Grand Glaven, which means I have no official power but will remain a figurehead of menace in the neighborhood, I guess I'm supposed to make a club newsletter. I haven't the foggiest on what software to use to make it. Any ideas?
Just to so you know, as a jock, it is my duty to yell out, "NERD!", whenever I see one on the campus paths. But for this, I made an exception.
